These terms govern your use of the RecrOOtr resume scorecard service at www.recrootr.co. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Service description

RecrOOtr provides AI-powered resume analysis, including:

• Resume scorecard with scoring across multiple dimensions, tailored to a specific target role
• Line-by-line rewrite suggestions
• Job description requirement matching and ATS keyword analysis
• Re-score after you've made changes to your resume
• Tailored cover letter generation based on your resume and target role

AI-generated content disclaimer

All scorecard results, rewrite suggestions, and cover letters are generated by artificial intelligence. While we've designed the analysis to be thorough and actionable, the output is advisory in nature. RecrOOtr does not guarantee that following our suggestions will result in interviews, job offers, or any specific employment outcome.

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any suggestions provided by the service. We recommend treating the output as a professional second opinion, not as a definitive verdict on your resume.

Acceptable use

You agree to use RecrOOtr only for its intended purpose: analyzing and improving your own resume. You may not:

• Upload resumes belonging to other people without their consent
• Use the service to generate fraudulent or misleading resume content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI prompts or analysis logic
• Resell or redistribute scorecards as your own service
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights

Your content

You retain full ownership of your resume and any content you upload. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your materials. Your resume text is used solely to generate your scorecard and is not stored in a database after processing.

Pricing and payment

Current pricing:

• Single Review: $29 USD — AI-powered resume analysis with role-specific scoring and rewrites
• Pro: $99 USD — Single Review + tailored cover letter + interview prep guide + 3 re-scores
• Unlimited: $199 USD — Unlimited resume reviews, cover letters, interview prep, and re-scores (personal use only, not for commercial or agency use)
• Additional re-scores (beyond those included in Pro): $19 USD each
• Standalone tailored cover letter: $9 USD

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are subject to change, but any price change will not affect purchases already completed. Promotional discount codes may be offered at our discretion.

Limitation of liability

RecrOOtr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RecrOOtr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Service availability

We aim to keep RecrOOtr available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service depends on third-party providers (Stripe, Anthropic, Vercel), and outages on their end may affect availability. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party service interruptions.

Modifications to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
